Caliente Mexican Restaurant recently partnered with Urban Outreach to host a Family Night! We are grateful for the support and reminded of the far reaching impact our ministry has in the lives of Houston youth!
One of our Apartment Coordinators, Liliana, arrived at the restaurant and when she ordered, she looked up and one of her students from 14 years ago was serving her! This young man lit up when he saw her, sharing how fondly he remembered the days he spent in the Kids Club and excitedly sharing his story and achievements. Now a young adult, he has found his passion in cuisine and is pursing a career that he loves in the hospitality industry. This young man set goals and persevered. This young man made good choices. This young man knows he is loved and the child of God.

This is just one of many stories of impact – relationships are built and nurtured and seeds are planted in the hearts of Houston area children, everyday! Our Apartment Leaders and Apartment Ministry Coordinators are our local missionaries.
We give thanks for these leaders of our ministry and we are grateful that each of our leaders has answered a call to be the light and love of Christ to Houston area children and youth. We give thanks for each and every person who supports our ministry with prayers, presence and dollars. Your support enables us to join God in the community, being the hands and feet of Christ to the children and youth who need the life-changing messages of faith, hope and love.
