Urban Outreach is excited to welcome Shirley Tang to serve on our staff this Fall! Shirley comes to UOI through the Professional Advancement through Career Education (PACE) program. PACE is an unpaid internship program for high-performing or gifted and talented high school seniors in KatyISD.
Shirley attends James E Taylor High School and she is passionate about helping people and communities thrive. She brings gifts that include problem-solving and teamwork and she is very active in school. Shirley will be with us for 6 hours per week for 24 weeks. She will be working different projects within each area of our organization to gain a realistic understanding of work in the non-profit sector.
Shirley jumped right in and we are grateful to have her time, talent and passion!
