STEM Update

UOI is excited to share that we are piloting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) enrichment programs in 5 Houston Apartment Communities this Spring.

Apartment Leaders have been trained to facilitate LEGO WEDO curriculum and the kids are delighted to be participating in this program.  The program includes video instruction and construction of robots!

We are grateful to Harris County Department of Education for funding this important pilot program and we hope to expand the program to more locations later in the year.
