Urban Outreach hosts events such as movie nights, pool parties, holiday celebrations, back to school, and open house. Food, activities, and small gifts are part of the fun. Sometimes the local fire or police department will participate by bringing their trucks, cars, and even a helicopter for the residents to see and learn about. These events provide an opportunity for people in the apartments to spend time with one another. Residents build a sense of community as they form relationships with one another while celebrating and having fun.
