At Kids Club, children participate in our character development program. Many parents in our apartment communities are busy working so the family can get by financially.  Kids are often left by themselves. School-age children are easily influenced by their environment. It can be hard for them to make good decisions. They need help to build a strong character.  Kids Club uses a structured program to help build good character traits in children.

Children learn one character trait each month. Each trait contains various modules: an animal, a historical figure, a song, memory work, games, crafts, and art. These modules provide a diverse array of opportunities for children to learn about the character trait.

Parents and teachers have noticed positive changes in the behavior and character of their children once they’ve started attending Kids Club. Kids tell us how they’ve applied the character traits they’ve learned to their daily life. Daniel told us how, after learning about Peacefulness, his classmates got in a fight and he asked them to stop. He said in the past he would’ve encouraged them.

Through this program we help build strong moral character in children so they actively choose to do what is right. By intentionally working on character development with our kids everyday, we can help lay a foundation for a lifetime of good character.
