Lego Robotics is offered in our S.T.E.A.M. program for children in the Kids Clubs as a part of our Expansion Program for apartment communities. S.T.E.A.M. is used in schools to engage kids in the subjects of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Once a week, each child is given a lab coat and takes on the role of a scientist or an engineer. They build a robot from the given instructions. With a tablet, they learn how to program their robot to move. Throughout this process, the children practice teamwork and discipline while learning programming, math, and science skills. One of the missions of this program is to change the vision the kids have for their future. They begin to see opportunities for future careers that they may not have thought possible.
