E. L. “BUD” HUDGENS

1920-2016

Bud Hudgens went home to the Lord on November 22, 2016 after a long and fruitful life of serving the Lord and mankind through his church and related mission ministries. Bud was a Sunday School Teacher, Deacon and the leader of the Missions Ministries of Tallowood Baptist Church throughout the 1990’s. Toward the end of that time, he went on to serve as the Executive Director of Urban Outreach, Inc., a faith-based non-profit Houston ministry for about 10 years. His great faith and trust in the Lord as well as his superior leadership and management skills set Bud apart in successful ministry performance. It is that leadership quality that enabled Urban Outreach to survive and thrive for these past 20-plus years of successful ministry to literally thousands of underserved Houston area families.
